Build a Contact Database from Outlook

Problem: Lost client contacts

A regional Community Economic Development organization would often respond to contacts over email, and then find later that these contacts were not in their Access database. As a result, they lost useful information and missed opportunities to re-connect with contacts.

Solution: Manage contacts on-the-fly

• We built a custom application that integrates with Outlook.
• Now, every time a staff person sends an email to someone who is not in their contact database already, he or she can match the name to an existing record in the database, or add the email recipient as a new contact while the information is at his or her fingertips.
